Experienced shooters & aspiring shooters with little or no experience welcome. Gain hands on experience with a variety of firearms, & have your questions answered. We utilize NRA materials, PowerPoint material & videos to teach the NRA’s rules of safe firearm handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, maintenance & range rules. Classroom session includes lecture, hands-on instruction & exercises. For those interested in applying for your Maryland HQL, additional material & classroom time is provided. Course requires live fire practice & qualification. If you own a firearm you may use it for qualification. If you don’t instructor will provide firearms & ammo.
