Berwyn Rod & Gun Club (BRGC) is hosting a Maryland Basic Boating Safety Course. This classroom course is taught by a team of experienced BRGC instructors. They will teach basic boating skills so you can earn your boating safety certificate from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.

Topics will include:

types of vessels,
state and Federal regulations,
what to do in an emergency,
navigational aids,
weather,
paddling,
personal watercraft operations and safety,
and more.

This course meets the Maryland Boating Safety Education Act requirement needed for persons born on or after July 1, 1972, to operate a motorized vessel on Maryland waters.
