This training class is designed for whole family participation, including women and children, to promote firearm safety and to familiarize all family members with the firearms present in the home which may be used for recreation, sport, competition, or defense.
Topics addressed and discussed in this class will be, Firearm History, Maryland State Law, Rules of Firearm Safety, Home Firearm Safety, Firearm Transportation Safety, Range Safety, Storage Safety, Firearm Cleaning and Maintenance, Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Trigger Control, and Live-Fire range time.
Families provide the firearm(s) present in the home and appropriate ammunition for them, hearing protection and eye protection. Printed material handouts, pens, note paper, targets, chamber safety flags, supplemental firearms and ammunition and target frames will be provided by ALL AMERICAN Small Arms Training.
This training class is open to anyone who is not legally disqualified from firearm ownership, or being in contact with firearms or ammunition. The primary mission of this training class is to ensure that everyone in the household is on the "same page" relative to firearm safety and responsible use for all lawful purposes.
The cost of this training class is $125.00 per adult family member with children admitted free (ages 8-18). Attendance by ALL family members is recommended highly.
Pre-registration is required and should be completed no later than Thursday 23 November 2017.
